OOTD: Super Squirrel Shirt

Hello all! Sorry its been such a long while since my last post but i've been super busy with starting a new life in the UK! Anyways, I thought I would share this little outfit I wore today based around a cute squirrel patterned shirt. I'm not a fashion blogger or anything so please feel free to comment on what I could improve on, or what I could go more into depth with! As you can see from the photos above, I can't pose very seriously...

     Jacket & Shirt

  • Squirrel shirt from Cotton On (Price Unknown)
  • Biker Jacket from ZARA (£69.99)
Unfortunately I couldn't find the link for the squirrel shirt, which was a bummer, but here is a close up of the sweet little pattern. This shirt makes me smile and the pattern is subtle and not too much in your face, I find it looks mature and not childish. The biker jacket is faux leather but is so well made it looks and feels like the real deal. I have had coats from ZARA previously and I always find they are so well made and last forever.

 Jeans & Belt

  • MOTO Blue Jamie High Waisted Jeans from Topshop (£40)
  • Embossed Belt from H&M (£3.99)
I love this belt and it goes with everything! I used to wear skinny belts and had never bought a wide one until a few months ago, I find this one really pulls any outfit together. The Topshop jeans are my favourite pair of trousers in my wardrobe, they are ankle grazers so I don't even need to roll them up! I find high waisted trousers are more flattering on the figure, with normal trousers that rest on the hip I find they lengthen the torso and shorten your legs, and as a person who constantly tucks in my tops, high waisted is the way forward.

Shoes

  • Faux Suede Lion Loafers from Forever 21 ($24.80)
I've owned these shoes for a while and they have the style to make all of my outfits look classy and well-put-together. The pointed toe does half the work but as they have an embodied gold LION on the front! They have a quirky addition to the plain black suede.

Nail Polish

  • Eclipse Nail Polish from Topshop (£6.00)
This is one of my personal favourites from Topshop's nail polishes, it almost has a ChromaFlair type quality to it; changing colour at different angles of viewing. 'Eclipse' reminds me of rain-beetles and other shiny insects.

Well this was my first OOTD post and I hope you had fun flicking through it! Please feel free to follow and comment!
